Ishaq Dar Announces To Keep PEtro; Prices Unchanged In Pakistan

  With effect from April 1, Finance Minister Ishaq said on Sunday that the cost of diesel will be reduced by Rs. 5 per litre but the cost of petrol would remain the same. In a televised speech, he said that on the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the new prices had been developed to offer the "maximum relief" to the common people. Additionally, the financial czar announced price reductions for both kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) of Rs. 10 per litre. Petrol will be available at Rs282, HSD at Rs288, kerosene at Rs176.07, and light diesel at Rs164.68 per litre following the announcement of new rates. In the transportation and agricultural industries, diesel is widely used.  As the crop-harvesting season has begun, the price reduction may lessen the impact of inflation while also providing farmers with some relief. 

DHA-UAE GROUP Sign MoU For Golf View Villas In DHA

  A member of the Dubai Royal Family named Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum has signed a contract with the Defence Housing Association (DHA) Karachi to build opulent golf view villas with a view of the Nick Faldo Golf Course in DHA City Karachi. The project will be completed to the highest international standards and will be carried out by AMWAJ Developers from the UAE in partnership with DHA City Karachi. The Sheikh's office is dedicated to increasing investments in Pakistan and bringing in foreign direct investment and has vast expertise implementing a variety of international projects. Additionally, the office is working on other projects in Pakistan, including high-end residences with DHA Lahore, a Green Hydrogen project with its London-based subsidiary Oracle Energy, and plasma products with the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Capital police report finds Imran guilty of contempt of court

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) received a report from the capital police on Wednesday that stated Imran Khan, the leader of the PTI, had violated the court's order by failing to maintain order prior to his presence.  According to the report, Mr. Khan gave orders to party members to attack the courthouse, disobeying the court's directives to maintain peace while he was in court.  The report revealed that the atmosphere in the Judicial Complex was scary following Mr. Khan's presentation before the IHC on March 18. "A large group of PTI supporters encircled his car, and activists brandishing batons attacked police officers stationed at the complex, injuring 34 police officers and three FC members", according to the report.  The report listed the harm done by PTI supporters, which included the burning of two police cars, three police motorbikes, seven private motorcyclists, as well as the breaking of the Complex's furnishings and window panes. "It resulted
